Yes, it is. The quality of the eye test will be the same. We use specialised portable equipment which allows us to do this at home.
Yes, we can. We can adapt the eye test to suit your conditions. Please let us know if you have any special circumstances that you may have and we will be happy to support you.
We generally take about 1 hour to do the eye test including dispensing glasses if you need them. However, we will not rush through a test and will spend as long as required.
We have a wide range of men’s and women’s frames as well as various lens types to suit your taste and budget. Our optician will go over all the options and will guide you on what is best for your prescription and individual needs.
If you are eligible for a free NHS eye test the optician will need to see the criteria applicable to yourself which makes you eligible for the free home eye test.
You’ll also need to sign a NHS General Ophthalmic Services (GOS) form in order to do the eye test.
If you take any medication, then please have a list of them for the optician to look at.
We generally give you an AM or PM slot and our optician will give you a call roughly an hour before they arrive. During the booking process we will work with you if there are times which are not suitable.
Sure. You can have a family member, friend or a carer present during the eye test. If it is possible, please let us know so that we are aware.
Your safety and wellbeing is our key priority. All our team will carry an ID badge to identify themselves. If you are still unsure, please do not allow anyone to enter your home and give us a call. We will be happy to confirm it is our colleague who has attended your home.
